A young lady contacted us with concerns about the health a dog and her three puppies that belonged to a friend who had recently become paralyzed and unable to properly care for them. The pups were severely undernourished and suffering from allergies that had affected both their skin and eyes, leaving one of the two female pup's unable to open her eyes for a few days. The paralyzed man gladly accepted the woman's offer of help. She ended up taking the male pup home with her and we were able to take in the two female pups. After a long week of nursing which saw both pups getting very close to death, Ava and her sister Allie slowly began to regain their health. 

Ava has since become a very friendly and playful pup. She's also very affectionate and loves to snuggle up in the arms of whoever is willing to give her love. With her great personality and proper training, Ava will make a great family companion.

Ava has now received all three of her first year puppy vaccines as well as her Bordetella and her rabies vaccines. She's been de-wormed at the proper intervals and has also been started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Ava spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Ava will require all of her basic training.
