Ruby was found just below a local high school, very thin and looking for something to eat. From the moment I met her, I knew she was special. She is very loving, very friendly and a very smart girl. She is approx. 1 year old. She is still thin, as is customary for her breed. She has yet to be spayed, and assistance may be available for the cost of this procedure. She is up to date on her vaccines, and has been on a monthly heart worm preventative since coming to our rescue. Ruby is crate trained and somewhat house broken. When outdoors, she likes to point butterflies, and will, at times remain motionless for long times while she "stalks" her prey. She never catches any of them, but seems to enjoy the game she plays with them, exhibiting a smile on her face the whole time.
