Just prior to her passing, a personal friend of SoCo Rescue's President/CEO, Scott Bennett, asked if he would handle the future care and rehoming of three of her dogs, Nigel, Remy and Daisy. While Scott would have loved to keep his late friends dogs with him for the remainder of their lives, he knows that they deserve so much more love, time and attention than he is able to provide them. Nigel ( black/ white) and Remy are extremely bonded and have been together for basically all of their lives. To separate the pair wouldn't be right and would only lead to both of them becoming very depressed. This "husband and wife" team are so well meshed together that it's almost as if they are one dog. Nigel and Remy both have very affectionate personalities and seem to instantly connect with new people. They are typically very quiet, but do give a little bark to alert when they need to go potty. When they've had an accident inside, it's been on a pee-pad as they are also trained to use the pee pads. Neither Nigel nor Remy have ever shown any aggression towards people and typically do very well around other dogs, but a slow, understanding "meet-n-greet" with any other dogs at their new home would be best prior to an adoption. Nigel and Remy would make a great companion for an elderly, semi-retired or fully re-tired person who longs for love in their life. Nigel and Remy have been fully vetted, vaccinated, de-wormed and kept on their monthly preventatives. They both also tested negative for heartworms
