Athena  came to SoCo Rescue via the Macon/Bibb Co, GA Animal Services after being found as a stray puppy. Her physical appearance resembles that of various larger breeds, especially her head and torso, but her short, squatty legs are typical of a Beagle, Corgi or other medium-sized breeds.

What we do know about Athena is that she is fearless of all things! This allows her to easily adapt to new things, places and people rather quickly. She also loves playing with other dogs and pups regardless of their size or age. She can be both very demanding and assertive in her play with both people and other dogs, but can also be very calm and affectionate. She does tend to be a bit mouthy and “nippy”, which is easily correctable with proper training, but a home with small children should pass on trying to adopt her.
