Sweetness appeared at the home of a young couple in a town not far from SoCo Rescue. The little girl was scared, shivering and very uncertain of all the unfamiliar things around her. The couple canvased the area but was unable to locate her owner, leading them to think that Sweetness had been abandoned near their home. Also unable to keep Sweetness, the couple asked if we could find her a new home and took Sweetness into our rescue.

It's easy to tell that Sweetness was recently someone's house pet and very accustomed to being around people. She walks well on a leash, has shown to have at least some house training skills and even gets along with other calm dogs. She'll make a great companion for a retired/senior-aged person who is in need of a great lap-snuggler friend.

Sweetness is spayed, HW Negative and received an update on all of her annual vaccinations and de-worming as well as started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. She appears to be between 3-5 years old.
