Description:
***Winnie is with a loving Foster family in NJ. Her Foster mom writes… Winnie likes to be your shadow. She's very friendly and affectionate and enjoys playing with toys. She likes to spend a lot of time with her human and snuggling at nap time when not resting in her own bed. She will be a great family companion. She's been enjoying playing and running around with Phoebe and my dogs in our fenced in yard. she is house & crate trained. Winnie and the nine other dogs lived within a small area enclosed by chicken wire and had absolutely no place that would provide them with shelter from rain and a nasty storm about to hit the area. SoCo Rescue President and CEO Scott Bennett was able to convince the man that his best option, at that moment, was to willfully surrender all 10 of his dogs to SoCo Rescue. We are calling this litter the Vidalia 10. From the moment these dogs were lifted over the fencing at their former home, they have begun a new love affair with life! Where there was once hopelessness, there is now joy. And they found that some people actually like to receive the love they have to offer. Thankfully, they are all very accepting of new people, should do fine in a home with responsible children and would love a nice big yard to run and play in. They will need some work on house and leash training. Winnie has quickly become a favorite from this litter. After initially being hesitant in making friends she quickly opened up and hasn't stopped showing us just how friendly and affectionate she truly is. Winnie is a bit on the calmer side, laidback and loves to snuggle up with her human counterparts. There is no doubt that Winnie will make a great addition into almost any home situation. Winnie has now been spayed, received an update on her annual vaccinations, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives.
