When a woman stepped outside to greet a new day, she was startled to find two very young puppies huddled up together in the ditch in front of her house. She had never seen the pair, or even any adult dogs, resembling Jack Russell Terriers in the neighborhood before, but still checked with all of her neighbors just to make sure the pups had not wandered away from their home. After canvassing the area without finding the owner, the woman then contacted SoCo Rescue.

Lakin, the female and smaller of the two, is about as cute as she can be! Her extremely bubbly personality, along with her warm, friendly smile, seems to grab your heart in an instant and fills it with joy. She will easily become a welcomed addition to your home and will also shower yu with much love. 

Lakin will need all of her basic training and, as with most smaller breed dogs, may require a bit more patience to see her fully accomplish her training. 

Prior to her adoption, Lakin will have received all three of her first year "puppy" and rabies vaccinations, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue.
