*** Buffy is currently located at our rescue in Georgia. Questions about Buffy and/or our adoption process should be directed to socorescue8@gmail.com. Applications for her adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to Register or Log In) or by clicking on this link: https://www.socorescue.com/forms/form?formid=1628 *** After a family was given Buffy by a friend, they noticed that Buffy seemed to be a little off. While no vet verification was made, Buffy's new family thought that she was having seizures and did not know what to do for the young pup and didn't have the financial means to care for Buffy if she would need long term care. They contacted SoCo Rescue and we were more than happy to accept Buffy into our family. The first thing that we noticed was the puppy food that Buffy was being fed.. While being a popular brand of food, it lacked the proper nutrients that Buffy needed. After selecting a kennel mate for Buffy, we began her on a high protein, top quality brand of dog food. Since coming to us in December of last year, Buffy has not had any seizures or shown any signs of being anything other than very healthy and very happy. Buffy loves playing with the other pups in her kennel area and looks forward to her socialization time that she gets with our staff. She'll "talk" to the staff members while she's romping around inside her crate. Buffy will make a great addition for anyone looking for a small, playful pup. Prior to her adoption, Buffy will have received all three of her first year "puppy" and rabies vaccinations, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue.
