In December of 2022 we became aware of a litter of pups that needed rescuing. Their mom had been a stray that took up residence at a home and delivered her pups shortly thereafter. Being very limited on space, we were only able to take in one of the pups (Posey) at that time and did so in order to save her life. After a successful adoption event this past January, were were able to take in Posey's four remaining siblings, all of which were females. Among that litter was a pup that we named Portia . 

Portia seems to be the leader of this little pack of pups, and she is such a great choice. Her very friendly demeanor, pleasant personality and heart full of love sets a great example for her siblings to follow. Portia will make a great addition into any home.

Portia has now received her first year "puppy" vaccines, been de-wormed and treated against parasites and kept on a high-quality dog food.  Recently altered.
