When a young lady went to toss her trash into a dumpster, she was greeted by four young pups that someone had obviously abandoned at the dumpster site. The pups were approximately two months old at the time, dirty, full of fleas and very, very hungry. The young lady contacted SoCo Rescue seeking help and was even able to foster the pups until space opened up at our rescue. 

Besides being the only female among this litter, Layla is also one of the more personable pups in the pack. She'll be an ideal companion for children who are responsible enough to properly handle a pup and would also make a great "best friend" for someone living alone. She does enjoy playing with other pups.

Layla is spayed and has received all three of her first year "puppy" vaccines, her rabies vaccination, been de-wormed and treated against parasites and started and kept on her monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventatives.
