Description:

***Beecher is current in Flemington, NJ.  He was adopted to a great family however we found out that he wasn't the right fit for his needs.  They do not have a fenced in yard & Beecher LOVES to run & play.  He would do best with a fenced in yard.  He is friendly to everyone he meets including other dogs. His family says he is house and crate trained.  They are sorry to say good but but know it is best for him.

To apply for his adoption, please submit an application at socorescue.com; if selected to adopt Beecher, you'll be contacted by a SoCo Rescue team member ASAP. Questions about Beecher or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmai.com, please do not call the shelter as they're extremely busy handling the dogs in the rescue.***

Beecher was found roaming loose near our new facility in Tarrytown. The young lady who found him said he was walking in the roadway, not giving much thought to the passing vehicles so she got him into her car to keep him safe. She looked for any houses nearby in hopes of locating his home but did not see any. Being familiar with our rescue, the young lady brought him to us.Our attempts at locating Beecher's owner also proved futile, so now he's available for adoption.

Beecher is a very friendly fellow, seems to have no issues with other dogs and loves his time spent with people. He is a very active and strong dog who does need a little more work on his leash training, but so far he's responded very well to our corrective measures. In fact Beecher does appear to be very smart, does respond to some basic commands and even has some house training traits. While he is a little hyperactive, we believe Beecher will settle down a bit once he has a home where he can get the exercise he needs.

Beecher has been neutered, received an update on his vaccinations, de-wormings and started on his monthly preventatives. He also tested negative for heartworms.
