***ADOPTION PENDING***

A call came to SoCo about 3 dogs on a property where the owner was recently incarcerated.  There was no one there to care for them so the SoCo staff began going to the property twice a day to search for and feed the dogs.  At first, the dogs were fearful and would not come near.  Then one day, a brown dog brought Scott a rock. It was a fake rock with the word “Inspiration” engraved.  From that day on, they became friends.  The sheriff’s department notified SoCo that the neighbor had threatened to shoot the dogs so attempts were made to bring the dogs to safety but only the one would could be obtained.  The brown dog became “Inspi” for Inspiration.  Little did we know that she was pregnant!

On January 20^th, Inspi delivered her first puppy at SoCo.  Over the next 2 hours she struggled to deliver so the decision was made to rush her to the vet.  There they did an emergency C-section another 9 puppies were born.  The pups were all named  after inspiring people and have great personalities like their mom.  Being raised at the rescue, they were handled a lot and are well socialized.  

Inspi’s pups have now received their first year "puppy" vaccinations, monthly preventatives and rabies vaccination.  Adopter must agree to spaying/neutering at 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue.
