**ADOPTION PENDING 

Onyx was found as a stray in March 2021. She and two adult male dogs had been abandoned just down the road from SoCo Rescue. Onyx and the other two dogs were hungry, thin and very tired. After a little hesitation, Onyx allowed our staff members to place her into their car and she made her way to SoCo Rescue.

Oynx is a little shy at first, greeting people with a slight tail wag and head sometimes hung low, but once she feels the loving touch of your hand, she quickly shed any hesitancy that she may have. She's actually a very friendly who is also very calm in her playing. Oynx will make someone a great companion.

ince coming into our rescue,Oynx has been kept up to date on her annual vaccinations, monthly preventatives  and other such care. She was recently spayed and tested negative for heartworms.
