We were made aware of woman who failed to secure a litter of pups at her home, which resulted in the deaths of 3 of the 5 pups after they were struck and killed while roaming freely in the road. When he arrived at the home, Scott Bennett came close to hitting not only the two remaining pups, but also their blind mom and a couple of other adult dogs who were all standing in the road. Scott also discovered another litter of younger pups who were also roaming freely on the property and not being provided proper care. Scott was able to convince the owner to surrender all of the pups and pleaded with her to secure her other dogs. The owner , unfortunately, refused to surrender the blind mom or her other dogs.

Oscar and his brother, Omar, are almost identical twins. Only a slight difference in the amount of tan color to their ears is the physical difference that sets them apart. Upon his arrival, Oscar instantly became accepting of his new surroundings and was eager to make friends with the our staff. His very playful, friendly and affectionate personality captured our heart rather quickly and we're positive he'll also grab yours as well.  

Oscar has received 2/3 of his first year "puppy"vaccinations, including his bordetella; been de-wormed and treated for parasites and started and kept on his monthly preventatives. Oscar's' adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue. He will require all of his basic training.
