Roscoe made the jouney north on the Freedom Ride on December 14th and has been in foster care with his kennel mate Daisy.  His foster family describes Roscoe as a sweet, loveable and super playful pup.  He is learning quickly and is working on house training, and crate training.  he knows baisc commands:  here, sit, fetch.  Roscoe likes to play with toys in the yard and go on walks.  He appears a bit too interested in the family cat so may not be a good match for a home with a cat. He seems to be good with other dogs and kids.

Roscoe was surrendered to our rescue late one night by his owners after they separated. Neither person could take Roscoe to their new home and they were desperate to find him some place to go. 

Immediately after coming to our rescue, Roscoe buddied up to us and made friends with the entire staff. He's also played very well with other dogs, enjoying a little rough-housing without becoming aggressive, and has the sweetest nature you can find in a dog! He does need some work in helping him control his puppy level of play, but that and any other needed training should come very easy as Roscoe is also a quick learner. He'll be OK with older children as he may accidentally knock over a small child while playing. Roscoe is going to make a great companion.

Roscoe has been neutered and received an update on his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and monthly preventatives. He'll may need additional house training.
