Description:
***Pumpkin, formerly Precious Pretty, was adopted the beginning of October.
Precious Pretty had been wandering in and out of an elderly lady's garage for a couple of days but would run from the woman whenever she approached her. Precious was scared, hurt and would growl at the woman out of fear. SoCo Rescue was asked to help this little dog. Once safe at SoCo Rescue, Precious Pretty quickly bonded with her foster. She's also been very quick to make new friends of our staff, other dogs and even our house cat. She's so very affectionate and friendly, all she wants to do is cuddle up next to a person and shower them with kisses. Our search for any owner was not successful so we brought her to the rescue. Precious Pretty was so appreciative she eagerly showered the staff with kisses. She's playful, yet calm, making her a great choice for anyone looking for a small lap dog. Precious Pretty has been spayed, is current on all annual vaccinations, has been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on monthly preventatives. Her vet exam revealed an old pelvic fracture injury which has left her with an uneven gait and inhibits her from jumping but she easily runs and plays. There is no surgery available to correct the fracture and she may improve over time but may likely always have some sensitivity and will need to be picked up carefully. She will need additional house training. If interested in adopting Precious Pretty, please submit an application at www.socorescue.com
