SoCo Rescue was contacted by a couple who were going through a very rough time and seeking help for their dogs. Included among their pets were two adult dogs, a male Shepherd mix and a female Black Lab mix, and their four puppies. While the couple wanted to keep the two adult dogs and agreed to let us have them sterilized, they knew it was best to let us re-home the pups. 

Astra may look like a disgruntled pup, but she's really extremely happy and cheerful, she just isn't too fond of having to take a break from her playtime to have pictures taken! Whether she's enjoying a midday nap or rolling around and having fun with her siblings, Astra truly loves every second of life. She'll extend that love generously to any family that adopts her. 

Astra has been spayed, received an update on her annual vaccinations, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. A microchip will accompany her adoption. She will need house and leash training.
