***Adoption Pending***

Akron and his siblings were found abandoned at a local dumpster site near our rescue (see picture included). Someone had placed the 6 pups, approximately 4 weeks old at the time, inside an old laundry basket and left them in the road in front of the dumpsters. A truck driver was pulling up to the dumpsters, almost hit the basket and discovered the pups when he went to move the basket from his path. The driver immediately contacted our rescue and we were able to retrieve the pups before they suffered any injuries. The pups were in very poor health, which led to one of them passing away and another requiring the help of a special needs rescue. 

Akron has all of the characteristics of a healthy, happy puppy. He always has a smile on his face and his tail wagging is not-stop! He plays very well with his siblings and his eyes light up when he sees our staff walk into his room. Akron's new home should allow ample space for his to run and exercise.

Akron has already received all three of his first year "puppy" vaccines, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and kept on his monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having Akron neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. He will require all of his basic training.
