Marla and her brother, Marty, were found abandoned at a rehab center in our area. At approximately 7 weeks of age at the time, both pups were scared, hungry and in need of medical attention. Marla had a couple of spots on her body and tip of her tail that were missing fur, most likely caused by demodex mange. 

From her arrival, Marla has been very social with our staff. She's never displayed any fear of people, wanted to play and give kisses to us and seemed very grateful to be with us. Marla is very friendly, playful and full of life. With proper training, Marla will be a great addition into just about any home, even with children who are old enough to properly handle a young pup.

Marla was treated for her missing fur with a flea/tick preventative that also addresses demodex mange and has regrown all of her fur. She's also been fully vaccinated, de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Marla spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue.
