**Being fostered in Pennington, NJ area   **

When members of the SoCo Rescue team went to meet a litter of pups that needed rescue, we also got to meet a stray dog that had taken up residence at the same home.  This young Lab/Bulldog mix girl had wandered onto the property a quite a while and had become friends with the other dogs and puppies at the home. With permission of the home owner, we were also able to offer this girl, who we now call Mattie, a spot at our rescue.

Mattie has been simply wonderful since joining the SoCo family. She's proven to be very dog friendly, having already shared a kennel with three different dogs. She definitely people friendly and has that "never met a stranger" type of personality. Mattie should do well in just about any home as long as she'll have plenty of room to run and play. Mattie should be considered by anyone looking for a walking, jogging or hiking partner 

In addition to now being spayed, Mattie has also received an update on her yearly vaccinations, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and kept on her monthly preventatives. She also recently tested negative for heartworms.
