Hollie and her brother, Hogan, came to SoCo Rescue as owner surrenders. Their former owner told us that just before they were scheduled to have their female dog spay, a stray dog wandered onto their property and got her pregnant. In addition to taking the pair of pups into our rescue, we've also offered to have Hollie's mom spayed and are hoping to have that done ASAP.

Hollie is a very sweet, laid-back and polite dog. She's very gentle in her interaction with people and never gets out of hand while playing with other pups. We envision Hollie's ideal home could include young children as long as they're accustomed to handling a young pup. Holly will do very well as a family companion and should bring much joy into her future home.

Holly has received an update on her yearly vaccines, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. She will require all of her basic training.  We're expecting Hollie to be a medium-to-large sized dog once fully grown. Her adopter must agree to having Hollie spayed once she reaches 6 months of age and providing proof of such to our rescue.
