***Kira is with a loving foster in Princeton, NJ.  Each day she is coming out of her shell & enjoying being with people.  She loves tennis balls too!!!***

Kira and her two sisters came to our rescue as owner surrenders and yet another "unwanted" litter of pups from someone who didn't take responsibility to have their adult dog altered. The trio displayed very apprehensive personalities, most likely due to improper socialization being provided to them. 

Being the largest among her sisters, Kira is also the leader of the trio. She's always first to go exploring new things and doesn't seem as timid towards people as do her sisters. Still, Kira has a bit of apprehension when interacting with people but we're expecting her to improve greatly in a rather quick time. Kira loves belly rubs and being petted, will even eat out of your hand, but isn't too fond of being picked up.

Kira has now been fully vetted, kept on her monthly preventatives and received a clean bill of health during her vet examination. She will most likely need housetraining, which is sometimes harder to accomplish with the Chihuahua breed, so her adopter must be willing to provide the time and effort needed to accomplish the training.
