Lexi and her siblings came to SoCo Rescue as owner surrenders. Their former family never follows through with our offers to have their adult dogs spay/neutered at no cost to them, they also have compiled about three years of household trash in their front yard. Besides being very unsightly, the trash has become a "playground" for the puppies and dogs at their home and has been scattered all over the yard. Even their young children come in contact with the trash. This just shows the lack of concern that these people have for the welfare of lives at this home. 

Lexi came to us at the age of 12 weeks and had not been given any of her required puppy vaccinations, de-wormings or other vet care. But once Lexi and her siblings arrived, we provided them with the care they needed and then some in order to get them healthy. While scared and confused at first, Lexi responded very well to our efforts to socialize her and quickly became very playful and happy to become friends. With her very friendly personality, Lexi has proven herself to be a great candidate as a family companion.

Lexi is up to date on her vaccinations, de-wormings and monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
