Buster and his sister, Billie, became part of the SoCo family after they were saved from a horrible life at their former home. Their owner was very lax in the care he provided, often leaving them without food or water for long periods, even with the summer temps reaching near 100 degrees. At one point Buster and Billie were impounded by the animal control in the area but quickly returned to the owner because "...he's a fireman". Eventually a woman convinced the owner to sell Buster and Billie to her but he refused to also let her buy their two siblings, which now spend their days attached to chains. Despite numerous complaints filed with that area's animal control, no further actions were taken against the owner. After we were made aware of the situation, SoCo Rescue was more than happy to help find these two new homes.

Buster is a very friendly, very well socialized pup who loves his interaction with people and other dogs. He loves his belly rubs as much as he does romping and playing and is always eager to greet new people with a wagging tail and a smile on his face. 

Buster has now been properly vaccinated, de-wormed,  neutered and started on his monthly preventatives. His adopter should be prepared to provide Buster with basic training, which should come easy as Buster seems to enjoy learning new things. Given his size at 6 months of age, we fully expect Buster to be a rather large dog once fully grown. He is a very active dog who'll need ample room to run and play
