***Adoption Pending***

When an elderly lady prepared to leave her house one morning, she was surprised to find a little puppy hiding under her car. The lady contacted a friend of her, who just happens to be one of our wonderful supporters in our area, who advised that she should contact us. When we first met Sherrie, she was a little hesitant, most likely just scared, but greeted us with tail wags and plenty of kisses.

Sherrie has really opened up since arriving at our rescue, proving to be a very sweet, playful and affectionate girl. She's very energetic and simply loves her interaction with people. She's even made a couple of puppy friends and shares her kennel with one in particular. We've also discovered that she can climb out of her kennel but runs straight to whichever staff member happens to be present. Sherrie's wonderful disposition makes her a great candidate for just about any home, even one with children who are old enough to properly handle a small dog.

Sherrie has already received 2/3 of her first year puppy vaccinations with the final round due on Oct. 1. She's also been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue. Sherrie will need all of her basic training
