**Adoption Pending**
Brownie and her pups were found abandoned at a dumpster site. Mom and pups had been placed in a large plastic container and placed in front of a trash bin. Brownie looked defeated, struggling to feed her nursing babies (see last picture) and probably thinking the end was near.  But a very compassionate person took pity on Brownie and got her and her pups to safety. From there, Brownie and her pups went into SoCo Rescue foster homes. Brownie's pups were the "A" litter adopted last May.

Brownie has been with a great foster home where she enjoys the company of other dogs, including another SoCo dog named Luna. Not only has Brownie gotten along great with the other dogs, she's been extremely friendly towards every person she's met. Brownie's favorite activity is napping but she also loves to run and play. She also travels very well and loves taking trips. Having a large area for Brownie to explore would be best for her. She's a calm, smart and gentle dog who should do very well in a calm home setting. 

Brownie has now been fully vetted, is current on all of her vaccinations, de-wormings and monthly preventatives. During her time with us, Brownie was also treated for heartworms. She does very well living as an indoor dog but may need time to adjust to a new home and schedule.
