***Penny is currently being fostered in the Pennington, NJ area and available for adoption in the NJ and surrounding areas.***

Penny and her sister, Poppy, found themselves locked away in a local animal control after being picked up as strays. Since this shelter has very few adoptions and most of the strays are never reclaimed, it's highly unlikely that the pair of sisters would have made it out of the animal control alive if we hadn't of taken them in. In fact, the sisters were already on the list to be euthanized when we were made aware of them.  

Despite being scared and confused, Penny almost instantly became very accepting of our offers to help her and began playing and interacting with us. Her ever-present tail wag displays just how comfortable she is with us and has now learned to become instant friends with everyone she meets.  

Penny has now received 2/3 of her first year vaccinations, bordetella and rabies vaccines, been de-wormed and treated against parasites and tapes worms as well. She's also been started on her monthly preventatives and will have a microchip accompanying her adoption. Penny's adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
