Sweet Pea and her siblings were apparently left at a dumpster site in our area when they were approximately 10 weeks of age. The pups were thin, very hungry and in desperate need of a few good meals. Even worse, these pups were covered in so many fleas that it looked as if someone had poured a bottle of pepper onto their little bodies. It took three baths to remove the fleas. Other than a little thinning fur, Sweet Pea has made a full recovery from her nightmarish ordeal.  

Sweet Pea is the more reserved pup among her litter, tending to hang in the back of the pack. But she still has that super-friendly personality that all of her siblings also have. While she may need a little extra love and patience, Sweet Pea should make an excellent addition into just about any home situation.

Sweet Pea has now received 2/3 of her first year vaccinations, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and tapeworms twice and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Sweet Pea spay by Dec 1, 2020 and provide verification of such to our rescue. A microchip will accompany her adoption. Sweet Pea will need all of her basic training.
