Sammy and his siblings were apparently left at a dumpster site in our area when they were approximately 10 weeks of age. The pups were thin, very hungry and in desperate need of a few good meals. Even worse, these pups were covered in so many fleas that it looked as if someone had poured a bottle of pepper onto their little bodies. It took three baths to remove the fleas. Other than a little thin fur, Sammy has made a full recovery from his nightmarish ordeal.  

Sammy didn't let the cruel treatment he received from his former owner affect his love of people. He was the first to extend a friendly paw to our staff and set an example that his litter mates soon followed. He also quickly established himself as the "leader of the pack" and was always eager to go full steam when playing. With proper training, Sammy's well socialized personality makes him a great choice for anyone looking to add a member to their family.

Sammy has now received 2/3 of his first year vaccinations, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and tapeworms twice and started on his monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having Sammy neutered by Dec 1, 2020 and provide verification of such to our rescue. A microchip will accompany his adoption. Sammy will need all of his basic training.
