Levi was among a number of dogs that a neighboring area's animal control forcibly removed from their former home. We're not sure why the AC removed Levi and the other dogs but are aware that, despite a court order prohibiting them from doing so, the former owners attempted to re-gain custody of the dogs through some sneaky and underhanded methods. Each time the former owners were caught and prohibited from obtaining any of the dogs. SoCo Rescue was asked to find Levi and his buddy (see Bones' profile) new homes. Both Levi and Bones were placed in a safe foster home once we removed them from the AC facility.

While Levi's appearance and size may concern some people, in truth he's just a big mush! He's impressed his foster parents with his super-friendly personality towards people and other dogs alike and has proven to be very smart and a quick learner. While at his foster home, Levi has interacted very well with the children at the house. He also seems to be more attached to women than he does men.

Levi has now been fully vetted and recently tested negative for heartworms. He's up to date on all of his yearly vaccinations and monthly preventatives as well. He may need additional house training
