***Adoption Pending***

Rocky's former owners obtained him in Dec 2019 from someone who was giving away free puppies. While it was great to think that Rocky was no longer in need of a home, his former owners knew that they couldn't have a pet at their rental home and in July of 2020, they had to remove Rocky from the home, even if that meant surrendering him to a local shelter. Once we learned of Rocky's predicament, we offered to help find this fellow a new home. 

Immediately upon meeting Rocky, we discovered just how friendly and wonderful he is. Rocky greeted the SoCo Rescue team member with tail wags and kisses, showing absolutely no fear or apprehension at all. He has a true desire to be friends with anyone and everyone he meets, whether that be a person or another dog. Even when we cat tested Rocky, he displayed no interest in the cats, only a desire to become friends. Give this fellow a little training and he'll be the near-perfect dog.

We've had Rocky neutered, heartworm tested (negative!) and updated all of his yearly vaccinations. While he's spent part of his life living indoors, Rocky will most likely need additional training to become fully house trained. He does walk very well on a leash and travels very well in a vehicle. He does need room to run and play
