As astonishing as it sounds, Paris was found as a stray in our area. We immediately contacted our local sheriff's department, posted pictures on social media and made every effort to find her owner, but to no avail. Paris does have a microchip and even a rabies tag, but the chip is still registered to her previous owner from 5 years ago and the rabies tag doesn't have a veterinarian's name on it so there's no way to trace who administered the vaccine. We did speak to the previous owner, who was in Florida having a medical procedure performed, and that woman didn't really indicate that she wanted Paris back. Attempts to make contact with that woman again have been fruitless. So this sweet senior girl is now looking for a new home

Paris is a very friendly and personable dog. She knows commands such as "sit", appears to have had some house training and walks very well on a leash. She's been excellent around other dogs and hasn't paid much attention to our house cat. She loves to snuggle and is very quiet, making her an idea candidate as a companion for a retired/senior person.

Paris has now been spay, received an update on all of her vaccinations and de-wormings and recently tested negative for heartworms. She had to have a few teeth removed and received a dental cleaning. Our vet estimates her age to be at least 10  years old,most likely older, but she's still full of life! She does need to be groomed.
