**Adoption Pending**    When a lady noticed a man giving away "free" puppies, she became curious about the pups and decided to check them out. She quickly noticed four very cute and playful little 8 week old pups that also looked like they were in need of some very basic care. Their bellies looked swollen by worms and one of the pups looked to have a nasty case of diarrhea. With the owner also admitting to not having provided the young pups with any vaccinations, de-wormings or other vet care, the woman felt compelled to do something to help the pups. After she convinced the owner to let her take the four remaining pups, she contacted her local animal control, who referred her to SoCo Rescue. Jessie (profiled here) and her three siblings came to our rescue that very same day. 

Jessie has all the makings of a great family companion. With her strong Yellow Lab traits, being extremely friendly and playful, she should bring years of love and laughter into your home. She's also very smart and should excel at her training. 

As of May 19, Jessie will have received 2/3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines; her rabies and bordetella vaccinations; de-wormed and treated against parasites. Her adopter must agree to having Jessie spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
