*** Helena is scheduled to be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington,NJ) over the March 6-8 weekend.***

Helena and four other small dogs were roaming loose around the Glenwood, GA area. Their daily "tours" had them visiting a number of homes, seeking food, shelter and a little kindness from those they met. A call from our sheriff's department alerted us to their need for help and, at the request of the Wheeler Co Sheriff's Dept, we set traps and were able to get this group of small dogs off the streets and to safety. 

Helena has a very friendly disposition and should do very well in just about any home situation. She does very well with her companions and should coexist rather well with other dogs but is the "alpha" among them. Helena will make a great companion for someone looking for a little lap dog. 

Helena has been spayed, received an update on all of her vaccinations, de-wormed and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. She recently tested negative for heartworms as well. She may need additional house and leash training.
