***Shadow will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Feb 7-8 weekend. At this time, we're only accepting applications for his adoption from the NJ and surrounding areas.***

After his former owner passed away, Shadow was left in need of a new home. He thought he would be able to continue living with his former owner's niece, someone he was very familiar with, but the niece's landlord tried to profit off of the tragedy by demanding the niece pay $500 more a month in rent just to keep Shadow. SoCo Rescue was more than happy to help this young lady 

Shadow is a very friendly, playful fellow who simply wants to be around people. He also gets along well with other dogs and seems to want to play with them all. We're not sure how he'll be around cats and does bark when he sees our house cat.

Shadow has now been fully vetted, tested negative for heartworms and received a clean bill of health during his recent vet examination. He does need grooming and will need additional house training.
