When a Wheeler Co Sheriff's Deputy conducted a welfare check on a dog that had been shot, he noticed four young puppies at the same property that looked to be in pretty bad shape. The pups were undernourished, wormy and living in heaps of trash. The deputy contacted the owner and let him know that the pups and the dog that had been shot were being impounded and turned over to SoCo Rescue. It was from that home that our boy Linus came.

Linus is full of life and loves everyone he meets, human or animal. He's been well socialized by our staff and seems to be a very happy and healthy pup.

Linus is still undergoing his vaccination period, having received 2/3 of them by Dec 6. He's also been de-wormed and treated against parasites twice and started on his monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having Linus neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
