It was one of those days when we received the call that there were ten, yes TEN, very young puppies found under a woman's shed. How they got there, where was their mom and any other questions about the pup's past had no answers. The only answer we had on that day was "Yes!" when we were asked to help.

The pups looked pretty rough when they first arrived. All were covered with fleas, looked to be full of worms and some were missing chunks of fur. Regardless of their ailments, these ten pups were very friendly, trusting and playful. While we believe they are some sort of Hound mix, we've given them names from some of the characters in "101 Dalmations" as most are white and black.

Purdy is the largest among her litter mates but not by much. She's just as playful and friendly as the rest nd seems to love the attention she gets from people. Purdy seems to be very smart which should make her training come easy.

Purdy is currently undergoing her vaccination period and will be ready to go her new home by Oct 11 but can be pre-adopted. She's also been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having her spayed once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to us.
