***Mickey will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Sept 13-15 weekend. At this time we're only accepting applications for his adoption from the NJ and surrounding areas.***

You'll be hard pressed to find a happier pup than Mickey. From the moment he first arrived at SoCo, Mickey has exhibited his very friendly personality and a desire to be our friend. He's very playful, a bit hyper and seems to be the dominate pup between his sister and himself. His energy level may be too much for a young child so caution needs to be exercised if and when small children are going to be present.

Mickey and his sister, Minnie, were found as stray pups by a man when he arrived at his construction job site. Seeing no other dogs or pups around, this man could only assume that someone had discarded the pups so he contacted SoCo Rescue. We attempted to locate a possible owner but no one claimed the pups.

Since coming to SoCo, Mickey has started receiving his basic vet care, which so far includes 2/3 of his"puppy" vaccines, rabies and de-wormings. We've also started him on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. A microchip will accompany his adoption. Mickey's adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to us. He will require house and basic training.
