We're not really sure where Astro and his litter mates came from or what their history may have been as they were brought to our rescue and left without any explanation of why they were being surrendered. We can only assume that this is yet another unwanted litter of pups. We think that they may be Mastiff mix simply due to the way they look as we don't know anything about the mom, dad or their past. 

Just because he was the runt of the litter doesn't mean that Astro's love of life is any less than that of his litter mates. He's always having a blast, finding something or another pup to play with and seems to enjoy his "human" time as well. No doubt Astro will make a great family companion.

As of Aug 10, Astro has received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccines, rabies vaccination, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on his monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide roof of such to our rescue.
