During this extremely hot summer, a Glenwood woman noticed that a female dog, who appeared to have recently had a litter of pups, was found living among the ruins of a demolished mobile home. When this woman looked closer, she noticed a "few" tiny pups just wandering in and around the heap of trash. After searching the property for two days, SoCo team members were able to retrieve Sweet Sara and her six very young puppies. 

From the moment we first met her, Sweet Sara has been, well, extremely sweet. She's very receptive to meeting new people, gets along great with other dogs and doesn't even mind sharing her living space with cats. She is a calm,well-mannered girl who simply wants a belly rub. Sweet Sara's personality makes her a great candidate as a family companion and a great fit into just about any home situation. 

Sweet Sara has now been fully vetted and even tested negative for heartworms during her recent vet appointment. While she did very well living indoors at her foster home, she may need additional house training.
