***Prissy is being fostered in the Pennington, NJ area**

Our girl Prissy had been found as a stray on two occasions before becoming a member of the SoCo Rescue family. The lady that found Prissy on the first incident set out on a search and found Prissy's owner. Even though it was clearly evident that this was not a good home for Prissy or any dog, the lady did what was right and returned Prissy to them. The owner didn't seem to care that his dog was wandering the streets, putting herself at risk to become pregnant or possibly killed. 

Fast forward a couple of months and Prissy was found, once again, roaming the streets. This time, however, she was miles away from her home. When someone went to notify the owner, they saw moving trucks on the property but couldn't find the owners. Messages left for the owners were unanswered and they moved away and left Prissy without a home. Fortunately, the animal control allowed SoCo to foster Prissy during her mandatory hold period.

Once released from the animal control, Prissy made her way to a foster home. She did excellent in her time there with meeting new people, other dogs, cats (but does like to play with them) and even on her house training. Prissy had to be relocated when her foster went on vacation and went to  another foster home; ironically, the new foster was the same lady that found Prissy the first time she was a stray! Prissy also did excellent in her second foster home, being friendly, playful, affectionate and well mannered in addition to great house training skills. 

Prissy has now been fully vetted and spayed. She also recently tested negative for heartworms and has been kept on her monthly preventatives since coming into SoCo Rescue.
