***Jessie is scheduled to be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Oct. 25-27 weekend. At this time we're only accepting applications for her adoption from the New Jersey and surrounding areas.***

Jessie and her daughter, Rose, came to our rescue as owner surrenders after their former owner decided she could no longer give them the care, love and attention that they needed. 

Jessie is the ideal lap dog! She's very friendly, affectionate, playful and well mannered. Jessie has been well-socialized towards people and other dogs, will bark at a cat but we think she'll be fine with them.  If you're looking for a small adult that will nuzzle up next to you while you're binge watching your favorite show, then Jessie would be perfect for you! Oh and she loves to play fetch!!!

Jessie may need some additional training to be fully house trained. She has been spay, had all of her vaccinations renewed and restarted on her monthly preventatives. When she arrived at our rescue, Jessie was heartworm positive but has since been treated for them. She is due for grooming and potential adopters should be prepared to have her groomed on a monthly to bi-monthly basis. She's been kept on her monthly preventatives and will receive a microchip at the time of her adoption.
