Tankersley and his brother, Turk, found themselves in quick the predicament after they were picked up as strays by their local animal control. Both brothers waited patiently during the "hold" period for their former owner to reclaim them but no one ever came for them. After one of SoCo Rescue's team members saw a posting about them on Facebook, we immediately made arraignments to get the boys to safety and into our rescue.

Tankersley's appearance alone will grab lots of attention but it's his personality that will grab your heart! He's very personable, friendly and playful. Tankersley loves the attention he gets from people and enjoys playing with other pups. This is one very wonderful pup!

Tankersley is still receiving his first year puppy vaccinations and, while you have the opportunity to pre-adopt him now, he won't be released to a new home until June 14. He will still require one final vaccine to complete the series of three but has already received his rabies vaccine, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and kept on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue. A microchip will accompany his adoption.
