**Zoey was lucky to find a wonderful foster family & here is what they have to say about her...
She is extremely gentle, does fine in crate and loose in the house. Is totally house trained, is very calm around other dogs and humans. Has learned how to walk properly on leash, gentle without pulling. Very, very affectionate and bonds with her humans vet quickly.  Just another dog that just wants to be loved. She would be an excellent family dog!

Zoey came to our rescue as an owner surrender. She was part of the "Ailey" dogs that we profiled on our Facebook page and among the 19 dogs and puppies that had to be rescued after their former owner was evicted from her home. 

Zoey, like most of the dogs that came from that property, lived most of her life on a short tether and was limited in what human interaction she received. Still, she remains extremely people-friendly and seems to thrive when interacting with them. While Zoey may adapt rather quickly to living as an inside dog, we think a home where she has access to both indoors and outdoors would be best. Also while at her former home Zoey could see and did occasionally interact with other dogs but a "meet and greet" is advised if another dogs(s) is to share the home with Zoey. 

Zoey has now been spay, fully vaccinated, de-wormed and started on her monthly preventatives. She was also recently treated for her heartworms and should now be free of them.
