**Jewel is being fostered in New Jersey and will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the April 5-7 weekend.***

Jewel and her siblings were all placed in a blue plastic tote and simply left in the parking lot of SoCo Rescue one afternoon. It was a rather warm day and, being it was between shifts, no one was at the rescue when the pups were left. Luckily, Scott Bennett was on his way home, saw the tote and knew what he'd find inside. The pups were without any water, dehydrated and overheated. Luckily, the entire litter survived and are now ready to find their loving forever homes.

Jewel is just that: a jewel of a puppy. The most affectionate of her litter, Jewel was also the first to greet us with kisses as she immediately adjusted to her new life at SoCo Rescue. No doubt Jewel will make a great family companion and excel with proper guidance. 

Jewel has received 2/3 of her first year puppy vaccines, been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having her spay at 6 months of age and providing proof of such to us. A microchip will accompany her adoption.
