Marist was scared, alone and very hungry when he walked onto the property of a local family. The family tried to find his owners but no one claimed him so we took Marist into our rescue. 

With the love and care that we provided him, Marist quickly learned that he could trust people and has been nothing but super friendly towards our staff. He gets along great with other dogs, taking the submissive role around them but he still loves to play with them. He'll do great in a home with another dog,

Marist has been fully vetted, started on his monthly preventatives and recently tested negative for heartworms. He will need some additional training to become fully house trained.
