**Marty will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Nov 30-Dec 2 weekend.**

When a deputy of the Wheeler Co. Sheriff’s Dept had to go to a local dumpster site he came across a young pup who obviously had been there for a while. The pup, who was scrounging for food, was thin and definitely looked in need of help. The deputy immediately contacted SoCo Rescue and asked if we could help this pup and we gladly obliged. In honor of this deputy’s care and concern, we named the pup “Marty” after the deputy.

Since coming to our rescue, Marty has made a complete turnaround, regaining his weight and health very quickly. Marty has also now received an update on all of his vaccinations, been de-wormed and treated against all possible parasites that he could have contracted while living at the dumpster site. He’s also been neutered and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Marty enjoys playing with other pups. He’s also very people oriented and makes new friends almost instantly. We do think Marty will make a great family companion.
