**Arya (pronounced Ar-ie-ah) will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the April 5-7 weekend.***

Arya came to our rescue after her former owner received a job promotion which required him to move across country and wouldn't allow him to take Arya with him. 

Arya had been with her former owner for the majority of her life so the transition into a new place was, at times, difficult for her. But as she settled into her new life as a shelter dog, Arya began to show us her true self: very affectionate, very loyal and very playful. She loves to run, play fetch as much as she loves being a cuddle bug! She's built for the athletic life and would be the perfect candidate for someone looking for a running partner or a dog to take on hikes and other adventures.

During her time at SoCo, Arya has served as the foster mom to a number of puppies, which she seems to love them. She's also gotten along very well with other adult dogs but a meet-and-greet with the dog(s) she'll share her new home with would be best. 

Arya's former owner provided excellent care for her. Prior to coming to us, Arya received a 3 year rabies and DHLPP vaccinations and tested negative for heartworms. We've kept her up to date on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
