Description:
**Raider will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Oct 12-14 weekend.** When a man went to check on the noises that were coming from an abandoned house near where he lives, he was startled to find nine very young puppies all huddled together. They were crying out, obviously very hungry and looked very thin as if they hadn't ate in a few days. These pups couldn't have been over 2 weeks of age and their mom was nowhere in sight, meaning that someone had simply left the pups at this house to survive on their own. This man graciously cared for the pups for a month until we could get them into our rescue. Raider came from this litter of pups. From the moment he arrived, he's been very friendly and outgoing, showing very little fear of the new place and things that he was now experiencing. With his playful, outgoing personality, we have to think that he'll do very well adjusting to a new home. We're not exactly sure of his bred mix but Raider and his siblings have the appearance of possibly being a Doberman mix. We think the litter will grow to be around 50-60 lbs. Raider will need all of his basic training. As of 10/1/18, Raider has received 2/3 of his first year puppy vaccines with the final vaccine due on 10/14/18; he's been neutered, received his rabies and bordetella vaccines; been de-wormed; treated against parasites and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. When adopted, a microchip will also be supplied for him. To apply for the adoption of Raider please submit an application at socorescue.com
