When Merlin was found as a stray, he was very thin and looked to have missed quite a few meals. The poor fellow was very hungry, dirty and tired but that didn't stop him from showing his "rescuer" how much he appreciated being saved from the streets.

Being completely full at SoCo, we reached out to another rescue to see if they could foster Merlin and they said Yes! Since that time our friends have not only helped Merlin regain his health, they've worked with  him and found that he is a very friendly and sociable dog. Merlin simply loves people and gets a long great with other dogs. Merlin also seems to be fine around cats as well.

Merlin has now been neutered, had all of his vaccines renewed and de-wormed. He recently tested negative for heartworms as well. He will most likely need his house training as we don't think he's ever lived as an indoor dog.
